Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a New Accounts Clerk. This position will be responsible for creating new accounts and managing existing accounts for our heating and cooling products. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create new accounts for clients interested in our heating and cooling products

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of account information and documentation

- Research and respond to inquiries regarding account setup and status

- Maintain accurate records of customer account information and updates

- Collaborate with sales team to assist with customer inquiries and account management

- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data protection policies

- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments

- Prepare and distribute client account statements and reports

- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent education

- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the HVAC industry

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- Knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
