Shop Technician

A reputable company in the Norfolk area is seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join their team. This full-time position offers a long-term opportunity for individuals who thrive in a hands-on work environment within a professional shop setting.

Requirements for Shop Technician:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a trailer or diesel mechanic

Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, and trailer systems

Must provide own set of tools

Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Valid driver s license required (CDL is a plus)

Responsibilites of Shop Technician:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various types of trailers

Conduct brake and suspension repairs, welding, and electrical troubleshooting

Carry out structural work and fabrication as needed

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Complete repair documentation and work orders accurately

Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines
