Description:
Provide oversight of group home alongside the program's Supervisor, including safety, cleanliness, and overall environment of recovery. Assists Supervisor in oversight of medication and documentation self-administration of medications and supervision and oversight to DSPs.
Specific Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and training to DSPs including monthly documented supervision.
Ensure completion of facilities and medication management activities, including (but not limited to) the following:
Fire Drills
Disaster Drills
Residential Checklist
Medication Oversight
Vehicle Logs/Checklists
Daily review of medication room and documentation of medication self-administration and medication logs.
Implement and document interventions and progress relative to the PLan as it pertains to medication and compliance.
Complete Incident Reports in accordance with processes outlined by the company, County, and State.
Complete all shift notes and other interactions with Team Members and document in as instructed by the end of each covered shift.
Facilitate/Co-facilitate all groups as assigned and complete documentation within 24 hours of facilitating.
Support with transporting members to appointments per the directive of the Program Manager.
Participate in phone coaching/ crisis management process, which includes (but is not limited to):
Orienting Member and family to phone coaching process.
Carry and respond to coaching phone calls on days assigned, including being available to go onsite for emergencies during hours when there is no or minimal staff coverage.
Provide coverage for staff callouts.
Following incident reporting and documentation process for all on-call emergencies.
Support Team Members with activities of daily living including (but not limited to) the following:
Daily oversight and coaching of daily living activities.
Observing Member self-administration of medication.
Support with the development of socialization/ communication skills, conflict resolution, de-escalation skills, and utilization of crisis supports.
Support with meal planning, menu development, food shopping and meal preparation.
Encourage and support health and home safety practices.
Support with navigation of public transportation services.
Complete continuing educational requirements as aligned with regulatory compliance.
Attend individual supervision sessions and program meetings as scheduled by direct supervisor.
Support with hiring and ongoing evaluation of DSPs.
Ensure documentation of all Member engagements is completed within 24 hours.
Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

Always demonstrate compassion and concern when supporting a resident or Team Member.
Engage from a non-judgmental and understanding stance.
Treat and speak to residents and Team Members with supportive kindness even when they demonstrate intense behavioral or emotional actions. Staff will show residents dignity and respect for their values and lifestyles.
Seek out appropriate support, consultation with Program Manager, Director of Nursing, Director of Q & C or HR (if applicable) when uncertain about how to respond or support a resident or team members effectively.
Engage with all external parties/ individuals with professionalism and with a positive customer service approach, understanding that they are always representing the organization.Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED*
Current and valid Pennsylvania Driver's License*
Proof of age (minimum 21 years of age)*
Clean Pennsylvania criminal check*
Clean FBI background check*
Proof of Exclusions*
Ability to pass a urine drug screen*
Ability to pass physical examination and PPD/TB testing*
Good expressive and receptive communication skills, both oral and written in English*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team*
Ability to work the schedule as outlined*
Reliable and professional*
Experience in Working with people with developmental disabilities - preferred
