About the Role:
As a CNC Machinist at Fischer Tool & Die, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You will work with a team of skilled professionals to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in this role. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the production process.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAD/CAM software
Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls
Experience with 5-axis machining
Experience with programming and editing CNC programs
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Skills:
As a CNC Machinist, you will use your technical skills to operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You will also use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in this role. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be crucial in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality. Finally, your experience with CAD/CAM software, Fanuc or Siemens controls, 5-axis machining, and programming and editing CNC programs will be beneficial in this role.
