Warehouse Job Description

Position Summary:

Warehouse personnel are responsible for unloading, organizing, and rotating all incoming brewery deliveries. The primary machinery you will be operating is an electric forklift. Warehouse personnel are also responsible for running vacation delivery routes and moving tractor trailers on our lot. This requires that all warehouse personnel have a class A CDL. We are a union shop and all warehouse personnel are required to be in the union.

Warehouse Shifts:

First shift early – 4:30 am – 2:30 pm

First Shift day – 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

We have Saturday receiving hours from 6 am – 2 pm for scheduled loads only

Additional hours may be required depending on personnel availability

Position Responsibilities:

Operate electric forklift

Operate electric walk behind pallet jack

Have or acquire a class A CDL

Read and understand the various code date systems on our products to ensure proper rotation

Clean warehouse and equipment on a regular basis

Ability to work well with others

Clean driving record

Occasionally deliver special deliveries to retail customers using one of the following

Van

Box Truck

Tractor Trailer

Required Skills:

Must be able to lift 25 – 50 pound cases and 165 pound kegs

Must have basic math skills

Must have basic reading skills

Must be able to work a full-time schedule including overtime when necessary

Must pass drug test and background check
