Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)

Location: Clewiston, FL 33440

Job Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $135,000 – $170,000 annually, depending on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join a well-established outpatient clinic in Clewiston, FL. This free-standing clinic functions similarly to an urgent care center, serving a diverse ambulatory patient population. The PA will provide direct medical care under the supervision of a Staff Physician, with a focus on diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications and treatments, and educating patients and their families.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider to work in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct medical care to ambulatory patients under physician supervision

Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions

Prescribe medications, therapies, and vaccinations as appropriate

Educate and counsel patients, families, and guardians on health maintenance and disease prevention

Refer patients to specialists or facilities for advanced care when necessary

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation

Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative team members to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science required

Master’s degree preferred

Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the State of Florida

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an outpatient, urgent care, or private practice setting preferred

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems

Valid Florida driver’s license
