Job Opportunity: General Surgery Physician

As a General Surgery Physician, you will have the chance to work in a collaborative inpatient setting, ensuring exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:

Perform general surgical procedures including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties.

Manage inpatient care and complete daily rounds, providing oversight for 3-4 consults and 10 patients.

Participate in call duties, ensuring timely responses within the required 20 minutes.

Document patient contact hours and call-back details as per facility protocols.

Work collaboratively with hospital staff to provide quality care to patients.

Utilize the EMR system (Paragon) for accurate documentation and patient records. Qualifications:

Board certification in General Surgery is required.

Active medical license in North Carolina.

Fellowship training preferred.

Experience in both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. License and Certification Requirements:

Must hold a valid North Carolina medical license.

Board Certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
