Research Scientist, Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH. Design expts & dev protocols req to conduct productive research in patient organoid devt & therapeutic testing in field of neurologic disease mechanism & therapy devt. After study has been designed, ind perform research work in accord w/ protocol. Record & analyze data generated by research study in digital lab notebooks. From results of studies, help to dev hypotheses. Prepare tech materials. Publish articles in scientific journals. Present findings at local & national research forums. Train tech support staff in performing specific techniques. Min. req incl: Ph.D. in Animal Sci, Molecular Bio or related area of biomedical sci, plus 2 yrs research exp in patient organoid devt; 2 yrs exp w/ therapeutic testing in field of neurologic disease mechanism & therapy devt; & 2 yrs exp w/ various molecular bio techs.
