Proliant Health & Biologicals is seeking a service-oriented and detail-focused Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to support our Sales & Marketing team. This vital role ensures the smooth flow of information and product between our internal teams and our valued customers. The successful candidate will manage domestic and international order fulfillment, maintain strong communication with logistics partners, and provide responsive and professional support to customers and internal stakeholders.
This is an in-person position located onsite in our Boone, IA manufacturing facility.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: HS Diploma required.
Experience: 2 years of professional experience in a customer service, order management, or logistics, or related administrative support preferred. Equivalent experience in a production or plant operations role with a strong track record of accuracy, communication, and organization will be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and manage customer and sales team purchase orders with accuracy and professionalism.
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, including order status, shipping delays, and documentation issues.
Coordinate timely and compliant shipment of both domestic and international orders.
Prepare export documentation and liaise with government agencies (e.g., USDA, APHIS).
Accurately enter and maintain order data within the INFOR system.
Verify and finalize shipment paperwork, including Bills of Lading and product release.
Collaborate with shipping companies and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and resolution of issues.
Support customers with product-related concerns such as quantity, quality, and billing discrepancies.
Provide technical information to customers when applicable.
Create and maintain process documentation and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
All other related duties as assigned.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems such as INFOR, AS400 MAPICS, and CRM platforms like Salesforce.

Ability to streamline processes, write SOPs, and train others.
Customer-focused with a professional demeanor and ability to balance client satisfaction with company goals.
