Duties * You will serves as the IT Specialist in the Networks and Communications Branch (N6) within the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center Detachment Dahlgren (NSMWDC Det Dahlgren), Dahlgren, VA.
* You will ensure management of Command IT systems, computer networks, and portable storage or input/output devices, both classified and unclassified, comply with Navy IT operability standards, regulations, certification and accreditation readiness.
* You will manage the classified Single Delivery Point Community of Interest (SDP COI) enclave resident within NSMWDC DD, including configuration management and IAVA/IAVB support.
* You will develop, maintain, and manage a formal Information Systems (IS) Security Program.
* You will implement and enforce IS security policies on all government owned IT systems and equipment for NSMWDC DD.
* You will develop and submit system certification documentation and maintains a repository.
* You will establish and manage procedures for the clearing, purging and declassification of system memory, media and output.
* You will manage the protection or correction measures taken when a system incident or vulnerability has been discovered.
* You will develop and maintain a Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) Management and Qualification Plan.
* You will provide technical assistance and recommendations to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to support the government's position on contractor performance.
