Cloud Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Cloud/Software Engineer - We are looking for an experienced and motivated Azure Cloud/Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a SIPR Cloud/Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and services. **This position would be fully on-site in Chantilly, VA **This position requires an active Secret clearance, can hold up to a Top Secret clearance. **This is a direct-hire position. **This position requires an active Security + certification (or higher), must be DoD 8140 compliant. We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud/Software Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications and services that support business needs. You will collaborate with engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers to build high-performance, secure, and reliable systems. Your responsibilities will include cloud infrastructure design, software development, and service integration to optimize application performance.

Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure and Azure Government

* Implement microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures

* Optimize cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, and databases)

* Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with third-party services

* Build and automate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)

* Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation

* Ensure application security best practices (secure coding, encryption, vulnerability management)

* Monitor performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK stackQualifications: * 5+ years of experience in cloud development or software engineering

* Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, Go, etc.)

* Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

* Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and graph database technologies

* Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), version control (Git), and agile methodologies

* DoD 8140 compliance and active CompTIA Security+ or higher certification

* Active Secret security clearance
