We are seeking a Construction/Civil Estimator Project Manager who will be responsible for the takeoff, estimation, and overall operational and financial success of the projects assigned to them. They work with the General Superintendent to coordinate project resources, schedule, and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Download, review plans & specifications and scope for all items
Request quotations for subs, materials, bonds and insurance
Quantity take-off, risk assessment and pricing
Evaluate sub & material quotes pricing and qualifications
Prepare bid documents, assure bid submission is correct and complete
Site visits and photos
Review contracts, creating new files using our construction software, and monitor all stages of the jobs and updates files.
Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of a single or multiple projects simultaneously.
Develop new and manage existing client relationships while interfacing with the client for proposal and project related items.
Maintains compliance with the contract terms for quality, schedule, estimating and profitability.
Change order requests
Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
Thorough knowledge of contract documents required to properly plan construction sequencing, staffing, and subcontractor coordination.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desired
5 years of experience in General Construction, concrete and PEMB estimating and project management
PE preferred
Well-rounded diverse candidates with a variety of heavy civil projects.
Must be computer literate in Microsoft, Scheduling, email, etc.
Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
Knowledge of job site safety requirements and understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues
Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
A good work ethic and strict adherence to safe work practices
Valid driver’s license.
Clean driving record.
