Job Description
Responsibilities:
Supervise a small team of warehouse employees while assisting with daily shipping activities.
Act as a safety and quality champion, maintain an efficient, clean and safe warehouse.
Responsible for USMCA and international document creation.
Process small courier shipments.
In coordination with Materials department, maintain accurate inventory and audits.
Seek to continuously improve shipping and receiving operations.
Attend meetings relating to shipping concerns.
Act as an initial contact for resolution of day-to-day issues.
Supervise cycle count duties.
Operate and inspect material handling equipment.
Responsible for new and continual training of employees.
Responsible for tracking and reporting time and attendance in UKG.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse.
Post secondary education preferred.
Experience in automotive industry considered an asset.
Team-player with excellent leadership skills, able to motivate others, negotiate effectively, and interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential.
Working knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS and labour laws.
Inventory control knowledge and experience.
Understanding of auditing functions.Company Description
