Position Description:

The Assessor shall provide cyber security/information technology, scanning systems, information assurance subject matter expertise to our federal client assessing Federal IT and cloud systems. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of technologies, and standards the agency uses to secure its systems (e.g., federally mandated cybersecurity and privacy requirements; industry best practices; cybersecurity architecture; securing mobile devices; FIPS validated encryption; multi-factor authentication; single sign on; VPNs; network segmentation; firewalls; routers; NIST CSF; NIST Special Publications, and CNSSI 1253). The position is fulltime remote work outside of 30% travel.

Minimum Experience Level:

Six (6) years specialized in assessing security systems.

Required Skills/Certifications

Must possess at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, ISACA CISA, GIAC GSEC, GIAC GSNA, GIAC GPEN, or CEH.

Desired Skills

Ability to work with little supervision while on site.

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to advise, assist, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Education

Bachelors Arts/Bachelors Science degree, or five (5) years additional equivalent experience

**Security Clearance Requirement**

An active security clearance may be required for this role. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
