Job Title: Assembly/Inspection

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer for assembly and inspection tasks. This position requires flexibility with start and end times within the shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime. The role involves understanding daily outputs and adhering to quality management standards while maintaining an organized work area. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and participate in sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow the organization's Quality Management System.

Maintain an organized work area following 5S work standards.

Participate in sustainability efforts, including waste reduction and recycling.

Work productively and cooperatively in a team environment.

Maintain communication with the supervisor and team members to achieve team goals.

Be proficient in all areas of responsibility and promote changes for improvement.

Perform production order confirmations, accurately recording yield, labor, reworks, and final confirmations.

Keep the supervisor informed of any needed changes or reasons for missing standards.

Participate in additional reporting methods to assist in the production process.Essential Skills

Ability to use hand tools and small parts.

Proficiency in assembly and packaging orders.

Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Some experience with soldering may be required.

Experience in production, electronic assembly, and mechanical assembly.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean and well-lit, similar to a clean room environment, which is necessary for working with medical devices. The atmosphere is friendly, and employees are permitted to wear headphones at their workstations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orchard Park, New York.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
