100% REMOTE - Eastern Time Zone, prior insurance experience a must!

What you will do

Fulfil data and reporting requests for the business unit

Present information through reports and dashboards utilizing both Power BI and SSRS reporting tools.

Work with the Business and Product team members to solve data and reporting challenges

Provide innovative data visualizations and dashboarding solutions for business stakeholders

Create and amend stored procedures, SSRS reports and SSIS data integration code accordingly

What you require for the role

Proven experience in Microsoft BI stack T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI

Experience working within Property & Casualty, Specialty or Reinsurance

In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks

Preferred experience maintaining and enhancing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative

An analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

Experience working in an environment leveraging remote communication collaboration tools

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps software development - including design, build, code review, testing, release and bug fixing
