STAFF ACCOUNTANT/ACCOUNTING MANAGER IN VAN NUYS

POSITION: Experienced, Staff Accountant/Accounting Manager to start immediately.

ACCOUNTING DUTIES:

-Manage A/R process ensuring timely collection and accurate recording of

transactions

-Manage A/P process ensuring accurate processing and timely payments

-Credit card coding

-Process weekly Payroll and maintain employee files

-Monthly bank reconciliation

-Comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings

-Month-end general ledger closing

-Provide administrative support to management and staff

-Handle phone calls, emails, accounting inquiries

-Proficient in MS Office, printing, scanning & faxing

-Administrative/Clerical tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years accounting

experience/Accounting degree.

-Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and follow through on work

assignments in a fast-paced environment.

-Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and a

proactive, hands-on attitude.

-Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.

-Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a

team environment.

-Experience in office administration and management

-Candidate must be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
