Job Title: Assembly Operator

Job Description

As an Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in constructing railroad switches. Your day-to-day activities will include using hand and power tools, grinding, deburring, and performing light welding tasks. You will be expected to lift items weighing up to 65 pounds and engage in various tasks necessary for the assembly process.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks.

Perform grinding and deburring operations.

Lift and move items weighing up to 65 pounds.

Conduct light welding as part of the assembly process.

Complete various tasks required in the assembly process.Essential Skills

Work Environment

The work environment is in a facility known as Trackworks. It is characterized by being very dirty and somewhat disorganized. The doors remain open, leading to high temperatures during summer and cold conditions in winter. The facility is also very loud, requiring adaptability to such conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TAYLOR MILL, Kentucky.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.50/hr.
