Document the current "As-Is" FM System Baseline (e.g., Architecture, Requirements, Data/Information Flows)
Provide engineering thought leadership to define and document the future "To-Be" FM Architecture
Help integrate FM into the Digital Engineering (DE) Environment as an Authoritative Source of Truth (ASoT) data provider and consumer / user of DE data, tools, and analytic capabilities?
This is an exciting new opportunity to introduce systems engineering processes, rigor, and governance to FM, to drive modernization of their system architecture and business processes. Along with growing your Systems Engineering skills, you will have the opportunity to learn about Government financial management systems, workflows, and data ontologies and gain hands-on experience with Business Process Engineering, capturing, modeling, and analyzing end-to-end business flows, identifying opportunities for process re-engineering.
Leveraging the standardized suite of Enterprise Engineering & Architecture Tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Cameo, Doors Next Generation, Baseline Management System / Service Now), duties include (but are not limited to):
Partnering with Enterprise Engineering and Architecture Teams (e.g., Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Requirements, Enterprise Release Management, Enterprise Schedule Management, Configuration Management), introduce, coach, and guide FM teams on enterprise engineering, architecture, and integration resources, processes, and tools
