Front of House Customer Service/Barista

Job Description

Kitties cafe and bakery is growing! We now have 3 Kitties locations: Worthington, Bexley and German Village. We are looking for a front of house barista who likes to provide excellent, friendly and knowledgeable customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Drink preparation and assembling ala carte food items to order

General cleanliness, dishwashing and organization of the facility

Takes orders from the customers over the phone and in person

Set up and close the counter/guest areas

This is a non-exempt position with variable hours and an expectation that hours will be scheduled approximately 20-25 hours per week. The schedule for this position varies based on the needs of the business and may include early morning and weekend hours. This position is part of the Kitties tip share program which has been paying an additional approximately $3-$4/hour on top of the base wage.Company Description

Diane and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary of owning Kittie's and we continue to grow the business. We are looking for a part-time (weekends) or full-time baker (must be able to work Sunday's) to help us continue this growth. We bake 7 days a week from 4 am to noon at our German Village location. All of our baked goods, coffee syrups and egg sandwiches (Sammie's) are made each and every day. All of our products are compostable, recyclable, local and made to order.
