Job Title: Phlebotomist (Full-Time & Part-Time) Location: Chicago, IL Start Date: July 2025 Shift Schedule: Full-Time: Monday Friday, 5:30 AM 2:00 PM with rotating weekends (40 hrs/week) Part-Time: Monday Friday, 5:30 AM 8:30 AM with rotating weekends (15 hrs/week) Qualifications: High school diploma (required) Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience within the last 3 years Phlebotomy certification preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or MTN required) Job Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and specimen collection (including blood cultures, 24-hour urine, etc.) Accession and receive samples into VA lab systems for internal and external testing Prepare and label specimens for testing and transport Educate patients on proper collection procedures for home-based samples Maintain specimen integrity and ensure accurate patient identification Stock supplies and maintain a clean, organized work area Provide front-line clerical support, answer phones, and direct inquiries Maintain excellent communication with patients, families, and staff Follow infection control and safety protocols Prime Physicians is a physician-led, The Joint Commission (TJC) Accredited, ISO 9001 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised organization.
