Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our pediatric team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory tests, including blood draws, urinalysis, and other specimen collections

Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Process and document laboratory results, communicating findings to healthcare providers.

Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process

Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood

Draws blood samples as requested by physician orders

Maintains a specimen log to ensure all results have been received by the physician in a timely fashion

Pediatric vaccine administration a mustQualifications

Certified Medical Assistant

Experience in a pediatric or healthcare setting is a plus.

Bilingual preferred

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Ability to work flexible hours
