Per Diem Nurse Admissions & Visits Nurse

General Overview:

Our Hospice team has immediate openings for Per Diem Nurses for admissions and visits in the afternoon and early evenings on weekdays and weekends. For over 40 years, our hospice has offered a wide range of quality medical and support services, from symptom and pain management to emotional and spiritual guidance for patients and their families. Per Diem Nurses are responsible for admitting new patients into the program and/or providing direct nursing care to patients and support to their family members. It's a great opportunity for an RN with excellent communication and customer service skills who is detail oriented, caring, organized, and has good computer skills. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a cohesive team but be adept at working independently.

Position Qualifications:

Active State of Maryland RN license & a minimum of 3 years acute care and/or hospice exp.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide meaningful care to and communicate with the terminally ill.

Familiarity with electronic medical records a plus.

Must be able to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month. Rates of pay:

$350 per admission

Starts at $105 per visit
