Job Description:

This job is responsible for leading analytical work efforts for various projects within a Line of Business or business discipline. Key responsibilities include leveraging databases to acquire client and performance data, transforming extracted data into meaningful insights and trends, and delivering those insights to leaders to make complex business decisions. Job expectations include working with business partners to understand, coordinate, and deliver agreed upon priorities while communicating complex data outputs.

The job role will sit in the Digital Analytics Team. The team currently supports the advancement of Bank of America’s digital strategy across Global Banking by creating insights and drawing conclusions leveraging digital data. They use analytics to monitor the digital landscape and understand clients digital behaviors. It is a fast paced environment given constant competitive pressure and evolving customer expectations.

The role includes understanding how customers are adopting & using our Digital capabilities, how they engage with us on our digital platforms, how they choose what interactions to do with a bank associate and what they can so self-service and generally, what we need to do to meet ever-changing digital needs. The work includes analyses of digital features, tailored client insights, driving the digitization of service and much more.

The role requires the individual to be able to proficiently use data tools & techniques to extract information and transform the data into meaningful and actionable insights. The analyst is expected to work with CXO and LOB partners to understand the business question, develop an approach to solving the business question, gather and analyze the data, and provide a recommendation based on the findings.

Responsibilities:

Acquiring, managing, and transforming data into meaningful information that supports BAC’s Global Banking Digital strategy and tactical business decisions.

Understanding how businesses are using Online and Mobile (e.g. what features/insights should we add next) and interpreting for leadership.

Conducting deep-dives into customer behavior to identify digital engagement successes and opportunities.

Executing observational studies to identify key drivers of client Digital channel engagement, and more targeted ways to introduce new Digital capabilities.

Independently gathering relevant data and business knowledge, via discussions with subject matter experts, analytics peers, or internal/external research.

Participating in regular business routines and drive dialogue to determine where analytics and testing can inform business decision making.

Collaborating with multiple functional groups including Analytics, Reporting, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and the Digital Line of Business.

Analyzing client traffic & sales opportunities across the various Digital, self-service, and human assisted channels.

Guiding analytics & insights to identify transaction migration opportunities through the adoption of Digital and alternative self-service channels.

Helping build business cases to fund projects and technical advancement of digital capabilities.

Identifying best demonstrated analytical techniques and help disseminate their use among the broader analytics team.

Managing multiple tasks, delivering high quality analyses, completing project documentation, and presenting results to multiple teams and business partners.

Required Qualifications:

Extensive experience using Alteryx for data workflows and Tableau for insightful dashboard development

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience within a Global Banking role

Knowledge of Global Payment Solutions

Working knowledge of advanced analytic techniques to uncover meaningful patterns and insights for clients

Proven effectiveness in collaborating across departments to achieve shared goals

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with strong quantitative background in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics or equivalent work experience

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$108,500.00 - $140,400.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
