Job Summary
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud initiatives in support of business requirements. This role requires experience with all Azure services within public, private, and hybrid cloud topologies. AWS and Google Cloud knowledge a plus. This role will set the direction for automation, testing and deployment for existing and new Microsoft cloud projects. Responsibilities will also include partner/vendor management and monitoring of the environment for conformity. Must be able to document each environment, establish processes and procedures, and work within security frameworks.
This role will help drive new innovative initiatives here at Horizon Media by supporting the requests within the client and product teams.

Knowledge and Skills Required
Degree in computer science or related field
Certifications in respective areas of technical skills set
3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure
5-7years of Microsoft application and user support
Management of Azure identities including Entra ID, Open AI services, Compute and Storage, Networking, and Identity and Governance
Administration of Intune and device management policies
Support for Databricks running within a Microsoft environment
Microsoft Security and Compliance concepts and deployments
Design, implement and maintain solutions to support the core business needs running in virtual private and public cloud environments
Maintain an in-depth understanding of all cloud technologies to ensure all appropriate options are considered to support business initiatives
Act as the subject matter expert for clients, managers, application and engineering teams, to resolve technical issues and improve overall architecture
Promote automation best practices to minimize manual operational tasks and establish a DevOps oriented delivery model
Familiarity with multi-factor authentication capabilities within each cloud environment
Have knowledge of cloud-based event logging and auditing solutions
Manage administrative level accounts expectations
Create, revise, and maintain systems documentation
Work closely with clients to set requirements and expectations
Knowledge of software development tools

Salary Range$120,000.00 - $160,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
