HR & Safety - Generalist Newton & Statesville, NC
We're looking for a Human Resources & Safety Generalist to join our dynamic team across two unique and exciting environments. An established facility in Newton, NC and a high-energy startup operation in Statesville, NC. This is your chance to lead, shape, and influence the future of our people and safety culture across both sites.
Location: 50/50 split between Newton and Statesville, NC
Schedule: Full-time, on-site

What You'll Do:
As our HR & Safety Business Partner, you'll play a critical role in driving workforce engagement, talent development, and safety performance. You'll be embedded in operations, acting as a strategic advisor to site leadership and a trusted partner to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all HR and safety activities for both the Newton and Statesville facilities
Build and maintain a positive workplace culture through effective coaching, communication, and recognition
Support start-up operations in Statesville, build HR and safety systems from the ground up
Partner with leadership on staffing, employee relations, performance, and talent initiatives
Champion best-in-class safety practices, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and implement HR/safety training programs tailored to each facility's needs
Ensure compliance with all state/federal regulations and internal policies
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in HR and safety roles, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments
Experience supporting multi-site operations or new plant startups a strong plus
Strong working knowledge of employment law, OSHA standards, and HR best practices
Confident communicator who builds trust with teams from the shop floor to the boardroom
Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
Degree or Diploma in HR, Safety, Business, or related field
Physical Requirements: Due to business necessity, physical requirements for this job must be met. All candidates MUST demonstrate:
The ability to lift up to 40 lbs
The ability to bend, stoop or reach with arms, climb or balance; kneel, crouch
The ability to wear required PPE
