Our client is looking for a IT Service Delivery Manager in the Detroit area

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee daily IT service delivery, ensuring timely resolution of requests and incidents per SLAs.

Lead and enhance the IT help desk using ITSM best practices, automation, and knowledge management.

Align IT services with business needs by gathering and analyzing requirements from manufacturing and office teams.

Develop and maintain ITSM policies and procedures in line with ITIL or similar frameworks.

Monitor and improve KPIs and SLAs through data-driven insights and proactive problem-solving.

Manage and mentor the service delivery team, promoting collaboration and customer focus.

Oversee vendor management, contracts, and IT service budgets.

Ensure effective incident, problem, and change management to reduce downtime and identify trends.

Drive adoption of ITSM tools and automation for ticketing, asset management, and workflows.

Collaborate across IT and business units to support continuity, cybersecurity, and integrated solutions.

Lead or support IT projects from requirements gathering to post-launch support.

Champion a user-centric approach through clear communication and service excellence.

Support compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and TISAX.

Position Requirements:

Proven experience in IT service delivery and help desk management, preferably in manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of ITIL (certification preferred).

Experience with ERP (e.g., Plex, OneStream), MES, and plant automation systems.

Skilled in team leadership, vendor management, and continuous improvement.

Proficient with ITSM tools, automation, and knowledge systems.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Understanding of manufacturing IT/OT environments and security/compliance standards.

Data-driven with strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
