1st shift CNC Milling Machinist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift CNC Milling Machinist for a client in Shelton, CT Onsite.

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Location: Onsite Shelton, CT

Pay Rate: $20-28+ DOE

Shift: 8 Hours 1st Shift (7-3:30AM)

DESCRIPTION

3 years’ experience, 5 years preferred

CNC Milling set-up and operate

Experience in a short run production environment

Must be conscientious, fast and accurate with attention to detail

Self-motivated, productivity minded and ability to work with minimal supervision

Must be able to read engineering drawings and process procedures and be familiar with measuring instruments and gauges

Read G-code, understand and edit programs

Math skills: Shop Math, Trigonometry, Geometry

Must be quality conscience and be responsible for own work

Setup and perform machine operations on two machines in the work cell

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
