We’re looking for a Legal Secretary with a background in Residential Conveyancing to join a dynamic legal team in Edinburgh. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, private healthcare, and the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
Prepare, transcribe, and format legal documents from digital dictation
Produce accurate and professional documentation within tight deadlines
Handle client and third-party correspondence, including calls and emails
Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, and lenders on behalf of the team
Manage case files and maintain organised filing systems
Support diary management and scheduling for solicitors and paralegals
About You
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in conveyancing
Strong communication and client service skills
Highly organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
A proactive team player with great attention to detail
Proficient in legal case management software and digital dictation tools
