Environmental Health and Safety Senior Staff

Position Summary

1. Establish EHS strategies and goals to prioritize environmental protection and the safety of employees and customers.

2. Establish accident prevention process and strengthen safety management to create safe work environment for all employees.

3. Remove risk of regulation violation by observing domestic/overseas EHS regulations and monitoring regulation and revision status of the regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

1. [EHS planning] Oversee to establish EHS strategies/goals, plan and conduct meetings, identify EHS issues, and manage EHS records.

2. [EHS system management] Implement to prevent EHS risks through the establishment/operation of EHS system and the continuous monitoring.

3. [EHS training] Promote to establish training plans for each field and provide theoretical/experience training to improve capability of EHS managers.

4. [EHS audit] Promote to check and improve compliance of affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors with EHS regulations by conducting a regular audit.

5. Support the Global Samsung and regional EHS Global Team initiatives (Health, Safety, and Environmental) management systems to enhance effectiveness.

6. Manages the direction and promote the execution of EHS programs and policies.

7. Assist the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS & Security policies, procedures, and programs.

8. Maintains a current working knowledge of EHS regulations and laws. Provide technical and regulatory compliance expertise and support.

9. Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, ensuring compliance with all established standards and requirements.

10 Conduct internal EHS audits and project site inspections, and assist with audits to verify compliance and promote best practices.

11. Collect, record, and analyze HSE data from all projects, and prepare comprehensive regular HSE reports for management review.

12. Provide EHS safety briefings, education, and training to employees to foster a strong working safety culture

13. Continuously drives improvement in health and safety environment measures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

• Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks

• May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing

• Liaise with building management to ensure A/C, electricity supplies, and other building facilietis operate well

• Coordinate with security guard and receptionist to ensure physical security are managed and compliant with policy (X-Ray, speed gates, CCTV, security night-shift, etc)

• Manage and supervise tasks and schedule of office boy, cleaning staff, security guards and team related to regular EHS checklist

• Maintain relationship with building management to manage EHS meets the certain requirements

- Educational & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health,or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management.

• Have or include additional minimum 2 years experience as EHS senior role

• Familiar with EHS Management System, ISO Standard (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)

• Have certification of Occupational Health & Safety - Sertifikasi Ahli K3 Umum (Preferred)
