Leidos offers a dynamic opportunity on the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC) to support EHP programs. In this role, you will work actively on projects that require your expertise in Government Furnished Property (GFP) while ensuring successful execution within the EVA and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP). You will be instrumental in managing government-furnished assets for the Artemis mission, ensuring mission success and operational efficiency. This position will require some domestic travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate collaboration between programs and projects for GFP and Utilization Projects.
Develop and execute lifecycle and process plans for effective management of government-furnished assets.
Identify, monitor, and address GFP requirements and associated risks proactively.
Work closely with Program/Project Systems Engineering teams to ensure alignment with technical and program goals.
Conduct technical evaluations to inform decisions regarding GFP integration.
Oversee hardware development projects to certify, flight-configure, and deliver new hardware for EHP.
Create and update project schedules using MS Project Professional.
Review and prepare basis-of-estimates (BOEs) for new projects.
Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, including:
Expertise in risk management, lifecycle planning, and technical evaluation approaches.
Proficient in creating BOEs and basic principles of Cost Accounting Management (CAM) and Earned Value (EV).
Experience in proposal development and assessing feasibility for new business ventures.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings effectively.
Familiarity with NASA’s processes for spaceflight hardware development, including certification, anomaly resolution, configuration management, and quality assurance.
Experience in planning and tracking labor, material, and product deliverables for projects.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience presenting project status to technical boards, including NASA boards.
Knowledge of logistics, property, and traceability requirements concerning NASA government property.
Formal Project Management training and familiarity with NPR 7120, NPR 7123, and/or EA-WI-023.
The position requires you to be onsite at Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX.
Pay Range: $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
