Job Title: Collision Bodyman

Location: Etobicoke, ON, Canada

Pay Rate: $30 - $40 an hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Collision Bodyman to join the auto body repair team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to pre-accident condition. This includes straightening frames, removing dents, replacing damaged parts, and working with a variety of hand and power tools. A strong understanding of vehicle structures, bodywork techniques, and collision repair standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare repair estimates as needed.

Remove and replace damaged body panels, fenders, and other structural components.

Repair dents, bends, and other deformities using proper tools and techniques.

Straighten frames and unibody structures using frame machines and measuring systems.

Weld and grind metal surfaces as required.

Fit, align, and secure all replaced parts to manufacturer standards.

Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with painters and other technicians to complete repairs efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Follow all safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical certification preferred.

2+ years of experience in collision body repair.

Proficiency with auto body repair tools and frame straightening equipment.

Ability to read repair estimates, technical manuals, and diagrams.

Strong attention to detail and workmanship.

Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials.
