Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for the general upkeep of the buildings and infrastructure at our properties. You will be completing work orders and other required tasks at our Lodging Heliport in Palmer, AK (80%) and office hangar at Merrill Field in Anchorage, AK (20%).

Responsibilities:

Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion

Estimate time and extent of repairs

Perform routine preventive maintenance

Maintain material and supply inventory

Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary

Qualifications:

Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields

Plumbing knowledge

Electrical wiring capabilities

Carpentry

Groundskeeping

Etc.

Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and machinery

Ability to handle physical workload

Deadline and detail-oriented

Self-starter

The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees, guests, and any third-party contacts in a pleasant manner.
