Make Your Impact Where it Matters
At CPS HR Consulting, our Contracts Team is the backbone of our organizational compliance and operational efficiency. As a Contracts Technician, you’ll provide administrative and technical support to ensure contract documentation, vendor setups, and insurance compliance are accurate, complete, and timely. Working closely with the Principal Contracts Coordinator and collaborating across departments, you’ll help maintain our commitment to public sector excellence through detail-oriented and service-focused contract administration.
What You'll Do
Maintain accurate contract records using our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
Process signatures, renewals, and amendments in a timely and professional manner
Draft contract templates and support insurance documentation and COI coordination
Assist with vendor and subcontractor onboarding (internal and external)
Ensure persistence in follow-up, clear communication, and quality customer service across departments
Support audits and compliance tracking
Coordinate notarization needs for contracts and proposals
Collaborate with Accounting, HR, Business Development, and Project Management units
Frequency of Travel
You’ll have occasional travel opportunities—typically no more than 5% of your time.

Demonstrated reliability, accuracy, and independence in completing complex administrative tasks
Effective internal coordination with multiple business units and external vendors
What You'll Bring
Experience
At least 3 years of administrative support experience, ideally in contracts, finance, or legal settings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat/Pro
Familiarity with contract terminology, insurance forms, and vendor documentation
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Education
Associate degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
