Billing and Customer Service Clerk

We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. Are you a people person? Do you love helping others? PDS Optical is in search of a friendly, motivated person for the position of Billing and Customer Service Clerk. As a Billing and Customer Service Clerk, you will work as part of a supportive team to be the face of our company's exceptional service and ensure that customers get all the help they need. The Customer Service position is responsible for providing product and service information, resolving product and service problems.

The shift is Monday through Friday, from 8:00am - 4:30pm. The starting pay is $17/hr.

This is an on-site position in our Fort Lauderdale Optical Lab.

Optical experience a plus but not required.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

Provide customer service to customer account reps or patients, answer phones, follow up with orders, files, tracking patient's orders and status, etc.

Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data which may include verifying the eligibility of order.

Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
