Job Summary:

Technical Program Manager is a critical function at ECI, ensuring seamless execution developing and fabricating custom, prefabricated process control skids tailored to various industries and applications. In this role, you will establish best practices for managing projects, workload planning, and resource assignments while leading a team to drive success. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize project management processes, mitigate risks, and maintain clear communication with customers. Additionally, you will play a key role in integrating internal business systems, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring exceptional project outcomes. Your leadership will foster continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish program and project management best practices for defining, managing, and communicating plans and status of projects.

Develop and execute workload planning to determine resource assignments, shop loading, and assignments for all business unit demands.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team by providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities to ensure success in project execution and business objectives.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing, modifying, and optimizing program/project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Coordinate multiple projects and their interdependencies to ensure seamless execution and delivery, drive efficiencies, and reduce spend

Identify customer expectations and verify they are satisfied and aligned with project scopes

Maintain regular communication and resolve issues with customers

Coordinate project closure with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement

Reconcile proposal documents against customer purchase orders (scope, price, terms, schedule)

Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders, both internal and external

Monitor project resources, project product plans, and project financial plans for reporting and escalating to management as needed

Setup internal business systems to integrate with existing ERP system (resources, invoice schedule, etc.)

Coordinate and/or attend appropriate project meetings

Balance project risk and uncertainty through risk management and mitigation plans

Ensure 100% positive customer outcomes

Travel to on-site customer engagements approximately 5%-10% of typical work week Requirements:

The Ideal Candidate:

Must have the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Must have the ability to lead internal resources, from multiple departments, on a given project

Must have the ability to work on a team including gathering and disseminating detailed information

Must have excellent communications skills internal and externally, orally and written

Must have the desire for continual training and education

Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external customers

Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Will have a bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering

Will have experience in an engineering, sales and/or manufacturing environment

Will have experience leading projects, tasks or resources, ideally in an engineering environment

Will have a proven ability to maintain high customer service and satisfaction

Will have high computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn IFS (ERP) and SmartSheet software packages

PMP Certification is a plus
