Job Description

This position assists in the responsibilities of providing Pet Loss services to our families and assistance with event rentals with Quebec Place Event Center.

Provide families a positive comforting experience that puts trust into the Fairmount name. The Branch Coordinator will represent professionalism along with kind and caring voice in assuring comfort to our families who put their trust in Fairmount.

Essential Functions:

• Perform Pet Loss removals

• Handling deceased pets with care

• Administrative and phone support

• Perform daily opening and or closing procedures of the building.

• Crosstrain and work in all areas/locations of Fairmount.

• Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Cemetery, Funeral Home, Pet Loss, and Event Center

• Assist with the organization of appointments, tours, and inventory.

• Assist in working services and events

• Learn the AV systems in each facility

• Setup for all services; funeral, viewings, memorials, receptions, and other gatherings

• Learn printing of memorial stationary and help as needed

• Utilize down time efficiently

• Be courteous and professional with customer needs

• Maintain and service fleet

• Maintaining and operating Pet Crematory to Fairmount and State standards

• Public outreach for promoting Pet Loss and Quebec Place

• Assist with social media and other marketing efforts

• Assist with all areas of Fairmount’s operations as assigned

Other Required Accountabilities:

• Insurable with a Valid Driver's License

• Maintain cleanliness of chapels, facilities, restrooms, and guest areas

• Greet guests at the front door, inventory clothing, and take coats.

• Walk guests to building amenities, rooms, and offices.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize

• Knowledge of services, events, amenities, landmarks, history, and essence of Fairmount.

• Superb customer service as the first and last impression for guests and visitors.

• Adapt to change and think quickly under pressure.

• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Willingness to share knowledge and ideas with others.

• Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of MS Outlook Suite to include Excel, Outlook, Word and Publisher as well as

knowledge of pdf forms

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to meet physical demands of lifting, pushing & pulling approximately 150 pounds

• Standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, twisting, crouching and kneeling for up to 10 hours a day.

• Lifting 35 to 50 lbs.

• Vision abilities - close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00

Hourly Rate. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
