Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities Include:
• Hours will vary to manage all warehouse shifts as needs of business shift
• Overseeing divisions of the warehouse including selection and night selection personnel
• Maintaining control of receiving dock, quality control standards, inventory quality and problem-solving issues with receipt of quality-compromised products
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Assist and provide selection team encouragement, training, coaching, and direct corrective action when necessary; quickly addressing performance issues in a constructive manner
• Participate in selection process if/when necessary to ensure on-time dispatch of routes and to limit overtime
• Ensuring that established performance and accuracy standards are being met by all warehouse employees, for monitoring selection rates and errors, and enforcing discipline for all errors including counseling forms for internal mis-picks caught and external mis-picks reported
• Conducting warehouse inspections for equipment safety, food safety temperatures, and utilizing proper schematics for offloading efficiently.
• Union compliance, contract knowledge, and communication with Operations members
Qualifications:
Must have 2-5 years of Warehouse Supervisor experience (preferably in a food service distribution setting); Logistics, transportation and warehouse experience, experience with ERP programs, WMS, Microsoft Office (to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and the internet.
