Job Summary:

Pickup and delivery at multiple DENSO facilities and warehouses. Some warehouse work would also be included with this position.

Major Responsibilities:

Driver must be able to follow all DOT regulations and logbook requirements with an electronic logbook.

Driver will need to be able to perform a full pre-trip inspection and report any mechanical or safety issues to management.

Must be able to operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner, including moving trailers as required.

Must be able to operate a forklift and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Must understand and follow the operator instructions for the area.

Must inspect incoming parts and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Must complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

Assists with loading and unloading using material handling equipment as required.

Responsible for securing the load as necessary.

Switches trailers in the yard as required.

Requires shift work and overtime.

Punctual presence (attendance and timeliness) on assigned workdays. Minor Responsibilities:

Requires teamwork and participation of company activities such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and employee involvement.

Requires effective communication with team members and internal departments and related outside resources in a positive, clear manner.

Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.

Ability to work and perform duties with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications for the Job:

Requires High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Valid Class B CDL License

1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years

Valid DOT Medical card with Long Form

Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.

Successfully pass forklift training to receive forklift license Key Competencies:

Must be able to read and demonstrate an understanding of operator instructions.

Must be able to write as demonstrated through the completion of the employment application.

Effective verbal, listening and communication skills.

Excellent Driving Record Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting in a cab for periods of time

Requires constant standing and moving

Must be able to constantly lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.

Must be able to apply up to 66 lbs push/pull force unassisted.

Must be able to reach overhead.

Requires work in an environment with above and below normal temperatures. Additional Roles and Responsibilities:

Follow all policies, procedures and work instructions and make recommendations to improve the process through continual improvement.

Notify management immediately when problems or non-conformances are detected.

Appropriately record problems or non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken.

Assist in the problem-solving process, corrective action and prevention activities.

Contain or stop the process as necessary to prevent non-conformation material from contaminating good material or negatively impacting the environment.
