IT Infrastructure Manager

ASRC Federal is a leading government contractor furthering missions in space, public health and defense. We are currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense Data Center securing critical data systems for over 400 national security agencies from Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

The selected candidate will lead and direct one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare project execution plan and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team.

Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet technical, quality, and scope requirements of the assignment.

Keep current on advances in the field of IT as well as changes in the organization's business processes.

Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Interface with stakeholders and vendors to ensure requirements are met, provide issue resolutions, and assess risk and change management needs.

Communication, both oral and written, are key to the success of this position.

Adhere to all IT governance policies and procedures. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other technical discipline

Twenty (20) + years of IT Infrastructure Engineering experience

Current Security + CE

Must have a current Active Secret clearance. Technical Skills:

Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Ivanti Patch Management Software

Microsoft Internet Information Services

Microsoft SQL Server (up to current version)

SolarWinds

Basic knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 and 8

Remedy

Microsoft Office Products - to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams and Visio

Splunk Preferred Qualifications

Ability to interact with all levels of our customer base and provide excellent customer responsiveness

Knowledge of MDA Test Activities Preferred

Proven ability to multi-task and operate in a dynamic enterprise environment.
