Responsibilities:
Promotes safe, efficient, and optimal utilization of the facilities, equipment and, personnel
Supervise the functions and working of the Cross Dock employees, delegate and assign tasks, and evaluate the work of the shift
You will adhere to all safety procedures and SOPs and ensure the efficiency of the shift staff
You will facilitate daily start up meetings to address company updates and discuss workflow and encourage employee feedback
You will organize and conduct necessary training for employees, ensure proper functioning and safe operations of all warehouse tools and equipment, and work effectively with Facility Manager and other functional team members to support customer KPIs and SLAs
You will observe and enforce all safety rules in an effort to eliminate accidents and injuries and understands and complies with all applicable company policies
You will drive specific initiatives to achieve business results, proactively plan daily work orders to meet customer demands, and ensure timely loading and unloading
You will work with OS&D and Inventory Control to ensure that all product integrity is maintained as issue arise

You will provide leadership, document work productivity and provide training and counseling to shift staff
You will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and ensure work standards are met

3+ years' experience working in logistics and warehousing with 3PL experience strongly
preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to manage, coach, and provide training to direct reports
Strong organization and prioritizing skills
Ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an
ever-changing environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate PC Skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8-10 hours per day
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Ability to operate a forklift, if required
