Sunburn is looking for a dedicated and efficient Human Resource professional to undertake a variety of Human Resources duties. This position will be the main point of contact for Human Resources. This position will oversee recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, benefits, HR reporting, compliance, and policy administration, as well performing other human resources projects and processes.

The ideal candidate should have broad knowledge of human resources as well as exceptional administrative skills.

This is a REMOTE position.

Duties:

Administers, oversees, or collaborates on the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters. disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.

Assists with development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of current staff.

Developing and implementing employee retention and employee engagement programs to increase employee retention.

Electronic onboarding and personnel files for all new hires.

Send out offer letters with new hires docs to new hires.

Initiate background checks, and fingerprinting.

Coordinate on-boarding processes and plan orientation logistics for new hires.

Process new hire paperwork and set up new hires in payroll system.

Consult with management on Employee relations issues and provide appropriate guidance to the team.

Health and Welfare benefits administration.

Oversee maintenance of employee files, update employee records and create employee badges.

Assist with transition of organization to PEO and manage company relationship with PEO as the liaison between the company, employees, and the PEO.

Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
