SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
ELMORE COUNTY AREA
(ANNUAL DISCRETIONARY BONUS + COMPANY VEHICLE)
Our client is looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager to be a business partner and member of the leadership team, The Senior Human Resources Manager will position the company to maximize their greatest assets-their employees. The Human Resource Managers and the HR teams in Alabama will report to the Senior Human Resources Manager.
EDUCATION & SKILLS NEEDED:
Bachelor's degree required with at least 10 years of human resources experience in manufacturing industry (preferred)
Knowledge of EEOC, OFCCP, retirement plans, unemployment claims, and application flows
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and writing)
Knowledge of HRIS platform - Workday experience is a plus
Organized, strong time management skills, deadline, and detail-oriented
Willing to go to the shop floor
Creative problem solver who gets the job done leading a team
Positive attitude and action oriented
Travel required between Alabama operations (less than one hour distance) ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Policy and Procedures
Develop and administer company policy and procedures
Address related questions or concerns
Provide foresight regarding policies to remain compliant with changing laws Execute Employment Related Activities
Recruiting - must demonstrate experience recruiting creatively in a manufacturing environment using technology and social media
Employee onboarding
Administer employee benefits
Ensure employee reviews are being performed timely
Manage unemployment claims
Maintain personnel files and other employment related records Facilitate HR Assistance
Be a business partner with supervisors/managers
Address employee issues with respect, courtesy, and promptness
Assist with coordination of other company activities
Other duties as assigned
