Print Production Manager

Liberty Creative Solutions, Inc., is a multi-generational, family run Printing company in the Southwest Suburb known for a wide offering of print products, is in search of a dedicated and experienced 2nd shift Production Manager, to oversee operations within our production facility.

The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, achieving SLAs and leading a team of workers on the production floor. Duties

Supervise daily operations on the production floor to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.

Maintain an effective workforce through hiring, training, mentoring and coaching. Including the procurement of temps.

Maintain good overall knowledge and functionality of the printers and finishing equipment, including tools to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.

Effective communication between production and customer service on a continual basis.

Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and discuss changes.

Train new employees in operational procedures, safety protocols, and maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety regulations.

Provides leadership in the pursuit of SLA, Quality, Delivery, Productivity goals.

2:00-10:30pm M-F -Must be available for some weekend shifts.

Will be required to obtain a Class C Non-CDL License within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a print/manufacturing facility, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Experience with both offset and digital printing equipment is essential. Pre-press knowledge a plus.

Must be results oriented with a high energy level improvement- willing to invest the time and effort necessary to facilitate change.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Bilingual a plus.

Reports to the Director of Operations

Compensation

$55,000+ per year
