Job Title: Assembler I, Assembly - Skilled

Pay: $19.50/hr

Shifts Available:

Monday to Thursday from 4am to 2:30pm, with frequent Friday overtime from 4am to 12:30pm.

Monday to Thursday from 2:15pm to 12:45pm, with training taking place during the day for the first two months.

Job Description

The role involves assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units. You will use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment to fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. Additionally, you will repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements. This position requires knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training, with clearly defined procedures and tasks. The job follows detailed and defined instructions, requiring simple judgment in straightforward situations.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems.

Create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using various tools and equipment.

Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet product requirements.

Repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements.

Follow detailed and defined rules and instructions.

Essential Skills

Experience with production line assembly.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Detail-oriented inspection skills.

Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 year of prior production experience.

Capability to work in a cleanroom environment.

Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20lbs.

Comfortable being on feet for the entirety of the shift.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness. Shift hours are Monday to Thursday from 4am to 2:30pm, with frequent Friday overtime from 4am to 12:30pm. Alternatively, work Monday to Thursday from 2:15pm to 12:45pm, with training taking place during the day for the first two months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
