Part-Time Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner

Location: Bethesda, MD

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm

About the Practice

Our practice specializes in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions. With a patient-centered approach, we provide comprehensive care and advanced diagnostics, EEGs, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological conditions such as epilepsy, headaches/migraines, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and concussion management.

Perform and interpret EEGs in collaboration with the physician.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatments, and long-term management strategies.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

Physician Assistant: PA-C certification.

Active Maryland license or willingness to obtain.

Preferred: Experience in Neurology and/or Pediatrics.

Open to stellar new graduates with interest in Neurology

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
