### About This Innovative Learning Alliance
Voice Up, Flyght Academy, and The Wright Way Foundation have joined forces to create a revolutionary Online/On-Campus Learning Alliance that transforms how families engage in their children's learning journey. This partnership represents a first-of-its-kind hybrid educational model that seamlessly blends online flexibility with on-campus community, combining athletic development, purpose discovery, and family-centered education through experiential learning that creates real social impact.
As a 100% remote, 100% flexible institution, Voice Up serves students across over 100 colleges and universities globally, while Flyght Academy provides an innovative 2-3 day per week campus-based program in Trotwood, Ohio (Dayton, Ohio), that integrates athletics with accredited education meeting all NCAA eligibility requirements. Together, they form a new type of Learning Alliance that allows students and families to experience both online convenience and on-campus community connection.
### Position Overview
We are seeking passionate educators who want to revolutionize how aspiring teachers and professors support family-engaged learning through our innovative Online/On-Campus Learning Alliance. Faculty have the flexibility to support learning in both online and on-campus capacities, creating a seamless educational experience that meets families where they are while building authentic community connections.
**Faculty Engagement Options:**
**Hybrid Learning Support** - Faculty can choose to work primarily online, primarily on-campus, or in a blended capacity that supports both modalities:
- **Online Learning Specialist** - Work with families through Voice Up University's flexible platform while maintaining connection to on-campus experiences
- **On-Campus Learning Specialist** - Lead campus-based learning at Flyght Academy in Trotwood, Ohio, while supporting online components
- **Hybrid Learning Specialist** - Support both online and on-campus learning, creating seamless transitions between modalities
All tracks emphasize experiential learning that connects students' talents to purpose-driven social impact projects while significantly engaging families in the educational process through our unique Learning Alliance model.
### Core Responsibilities
Universal Responsibilities (Both Tracks)
- Guide families through our revolutionary "Baker's Dozen" learning framework covering 13 purpose-connected areas prioritizing mental health.
- Facilitate purpose discovery using Voice Up's five-minute monthly self-assessment tools
- Support families in creating collaborative learning environments built on our five founding principles: Collaboration, Humility, Precision, Patience, and Empathy
- Mentor students through experiential learning projects that create measurable community impact
- Connect learning experiences to real-world applications and future career pathways
- Provide ongoing coaching conversations that help families discover how their collective talents align with deeper purpose
- Contribute to curriculum development for family-engaged, purpose-driven education
Online Learning Specialist Track
- Support families remotely through Voice Up University's flexible digital platform
- Guide families through the three-step preparation process: Better Online Learning, Purpose-Focused Approach, and Family Game Planning
- Facilitate virtual conversations, online, and in person family workshops
- Connect families with on-campus experiences and campus-based student mentors
- Support simple record-keeping systems that track purpose-connected growth across both online and on-campus learning
- Bridge online learning with real-world, on-campus applications
On-Campus Learning Specialist Track (Trotwood, Ohio)
- Work on-campus 2-3 days per week with small learning pods of middle and high school student-athletes
- Integrate athletic development with academic learning through our "Four Stars" approach (Dope, Optimistic, Professional, Engaged)
- Support students through Ohio Connections Academy's flexible online curriculum while on campus
- Facilitate in-person mentorship with college students and community leaders
- Connect on-campus experiences with students' home-based online learning
- Ensure all programming meets NCAA eligibility requirements
Hybrid Learning Specialist Track
- Support both online and on-campus learning components of our Learning Alliance
- Help families transition seamlessly between online flexibility and on-campus community
- Coordinate connections between online families and campus-based experiences
- Lead hybrid workshops that combine virtual participation with in-person campus visits
- Bridge the online/on-campus experience to create a cohesive educational journey
Shared Program Elements (Both Tracks)
- Connect students with college mentors attending the nation's leading universities
- Support mental health through real-world projects aligned with personal talents and interests
- Guide student contributions to our quarterly "Make the Difference" publication
- Facilitate community projects where students choose causes they care about
- Support preparation for college admissions and career exploration through purpose-connected experiences
### The Learning Alliance Model
Faculty will help families join our Learning Alliance, a supportive network that includes:
- **Learning Together:** Families sharing resources and supporting each other's educational journeys
- **Sharing Special Skills:** Parents volunteering in their areas of expertise while learning alongside their children
- **Shared Spaces:** Access to collaborative learning environments for group projects and activities
- **Parent Community:** Connections with other families who understand the homeschooling and purpose-driven education journey
- **Community Projects:** Collaborative efforts to create positive social impact
- **Celebrations:** Regular gatherings to acknowledge growth and achievements
### Qualifications
**Required:**
- All educators are welcome (teaching license preferred).
- (Optional) Master's degree in Education, Family Studies, Athletics, or related field focused on purpose-driven learning, OR
- Currently enrolled in advanced degree program in one of the following areas:
- Educational leadership and family engagement
- Athletic coaching and youth development
- Community-based experiential learning
- Faith-based education and family systems
- Nonprofit management and social impact
- Student athlete development and mentorship
**Experience Requirements:**
- Demonstrated experience in family-engaged education or athletic mentorship
- Background in experiential learning, particularly with middle/high school students
- Experience supporting families in educational partnerships
- Comfort with both remote digital platforms and in-person learning environments (based on track selection)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in homeschooling support or alternative education models
- Background in athletic coaching or student-athlete development
- Experience with NCAA eligibility requirements and college preparation
- Mental health and wellness support experience
- Faith-based education experience (for faith track families)
- Entrepreneurship and purpose-driven business experience
- Community engagement and social impact project leadership

### Position Details
**Commitment:**
- Part-time position (10 to 15 hours per week)
- Online Learning Specialist: 100% remote with flexible scheduling
- On-Campus Learning Specialist: 2-3 days on campus (20 hours per week) in Trotwood, Ohio + remote support
- Hybrid Learning Specialist: Flexible combination of online and on-campus engagement
- Initial commitment of one academic year with renewal opportunities
- Summer workshop requirements for all tracks
### (Optional) Publication and Research Requirements
**Quarterly Contributions:**
- Submit articles for "Make the Difference" publication focusing on family-engaged learning innovations that are connected to mental health.
- Write in accessible language for parents and community members
- Share evidence-based approaches that other families can implement
- Document success stories and community impact from your students and families
**Research Opportunities:**
- Develop action-based research on family engagement in purpose-driven education
