Looking for a Grave shift caregiving position or a second caregiver job?
You must be able to work 2 days on/ 2 days off plus every other weekend. All training is offered during the daytime only.
Our Direct Support Professionals support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that live in their own home by implementing behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals, doing household tasks, and fun activities. No caregiving experience? We provide 75 hours of paid training with Zoom and in person classes.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/personal hygiene
Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe
Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals/snacks
Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)
Assist individuals with self-administration of medications
Document services provided using computer

Requirements:
Be at least 18 Years or older
Be able to pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check and complete fingerprints by hire date
Be able to provide high school diploma or high school transcript or GED
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time, see and hear our individuals
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have basic computer skills
