JOB TITLE: Dispatcher

DEPT: Ambulance Service

LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN

SHIFT: PRN, as needed. 12 Hour Shifts

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for answering telephones and radio calls, keeping appropriate records and logs, dispatching ambulances to correct locations. Responsible for conducting self in accordance with established standards of quality and teamwork.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Emergency Medical Services Board Certification Requirements for Emergency Medical Dispatch Required

• EMD Certification Required

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

• 2 Years of Emergency Services Preferred
