Job Summary:
The Office Manager is responsible for the balancing register drawers, paying bills, managing accounts receivable and other various jobs as assigned. This person will need to provide great customer service to both our vendors and customers at all times. Attention to detail is a must!
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Answer Phones.
Check Email Daily and respond in kind.
Maintain customer information in POS system.
Handles customer service issues as they arise.
Personnel
Publishes employee schedule
Payroll Preparation
New Hire orientation.
Maintain employee records
Operations
Helps to solve operational problems as they happen.
Takes care of special orders/customer purchase orders as they come in.
Post all receipts to CS Accounting system.
Prepares customer statements at the beginning of each month.
Keeps track of bills & schedule payments or prints checks for owner to sign.
Maintain price lists.
Credit card reconciliation.
Receiving purchase orders into POS system.
Filing.
Order office supplies.
Make bank deposits and maintain change in safe.
Qualifications:
Basic accounting knowledge is preferred but not required.
Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn computer based concepts quickly.
Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
